COMIC! - A Tale of Two Kitties

Children's Book! It's About a Black Fish...

So in my final semester at Pratt I made a mock children's book. It's called Blue Moon and is dedicated to my goldfish that I had for 4 years. Here's a picture:




In the book this black goldfish named Momo makes friends with the Moon but after some time the Moon begins to disappear until one day it's totally gone. Momo goes on a search to find her friend...

Here's some of the color pages and the cover. I kind of want to get this published. It's pretty cute.

Spring 2010 Comics: Mythology Anthology

For this Spring my friends and I decided to do a collaboration of comics for MoCCA. We call it the Mythology Anthology (or the Mythogy Anthgoly when you're typing too fast, inside joke, nevermind). There are four comics done by Nicole Dochych(editor), Amanda Droussiotis, Laura Kovalcin and myself. The myths are irish, inuit, chinese and greek, respectively. Cover art was done by Hunter Heckroth and layout by Bethany(Samantha) Beech.

I went with my favorite Greek myth and did a 6 page rendition of 'The Sleep of Enydmion'. Copies sell for $3, please email me if you would like to purchase the anthology! (The booklet is about 25-30 pages total and 5x7)

Fall 2009 Comics

Working on two comics for this term. One was for Comic Club (HATCH/Static Fish) and was a team project with Laura. I came up with this concept of a boy who loves a mannequin his entire life. It's 7 pages and will be found in this years anthology. Here are a couple pages. The other comic is for my Sequential Art class. It's about a cat and his disabled brother. It's all kinds of adorable, in my opinion. Almost done!

HATCH Comic Complete...FINALLY!

I've been waiting so long to do a comic for Pratt's Comic Club. I was one of the founding members but I never had time to work on my original one... so I just kind of left it hanging. I did a complete new one within 6 hours based on an idea I'd had a month prior. It's quick and to the point. Here's a sample, look forward to it in HATCH Vol. 2.
